Hierarchies within conversations are influenced by the spatial organization of the objects in the space the conversation is held. As part of an on-going research towards these supporting structures for a conversation I started an experiment inside the walls of the academy to reverse or manipulate hierarchy within classrooms. By using the archetypes within these rooms: tables, chairs, chalkboards I’m attempting to reverse existing hierarchies between teacher/student or even create hierarchy among students. This research will expand and be ever growing outside of the academy.
